Little Achievers Occupational Therapy is a growing private paediatric occupational therapy clinic located in 2 locations, Hurstville and Sutherland. We are a fun and flexible environment, open to onboarding occupational therapists and speech pathologists if the energy and fit is right for our team.

Our Occupational Therapy services benefit children with learning and behavioural disorders, developmental delays, visual and hearing impairments, emotional disturbances or physical disabilities.

The successful candidate should have experience servicing a range of difficulties including attention difficulties, autism, coordination difficulties, learning difficulties, sensory processing and social and emotional difficulties however, it is not essential and training will be supplied for therapists without paediatric experience. We do require energy, enthusiasm, a good work ethic and ability to work as part of a team as a non- negotiable!

As a Little Achievers OT, you will benefit from fantastic ongoing professional development; Either as part of our practicum new graduate role, or for the candidate with experience through peer mentoring, a generous CPD budget, being part of a multidisciplinary team and regular multidiscipline meetings and weekly supervision and support. Your caseload will be varied between school, childcare and in our well- resourced sensory clinics.

Requirements

 

• A recognised Occupational Therapy degree

• AHPRA registration

• Resident of Australia

• Current Driver’s License and access to a car

• Working With Children Check

• First Aid Certificate

• Excellent rapport with children and parents

• Excellent communication and organisational ability

• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
